Leeor, keep in mind that it isn't important to make the character look like a chef looks in reality but rather how people think that a chef looks. I suppose you have a point... it's just that to me a chef being drawn with a spoon makes him look more like a cook... and being called a cook is a slap ...

I think the eye holes on the side view should be a lot smaller than they are now. Right now, they look like holes on the sides of the mask for ears rather than for the eyes.

It's a learning process. You're doing quite well. Sometimes you need a second (or third or fourth) set of eyes to help you get something perfect.
