The license file we have in the client data repo says "GPLv2" instead of "GPLv2+". Is that right?
http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=1177 links to the latest version of the GPL (v3 when it was posted and currently).

Re: Wiki home page
I'm going to replace the current main page with EJlol's submission sometime tomorrow, unless we have objections. We can always put a new one in place later if a better one gets created.

Re: I18N
A quick look at the translation effort on the wiki. These are the number of articles in each language that use the I18n template (the one that provides language links): English: 177 Spanish: 66 Portuguese: 10 German 20 French: 147 I make no claims about pages being up to date, or even vaguely correct.

Re: pngcrush
Could we use pngcrush for ancillary chunk removal from all our PNGs? It reduces the file size and more important it makes the graphics look the same everywhere. An example for how different pictures are displayed is shown here. The dyeing system used by TMW can turn even small differences into very...

Re: Auto-follow, is it time for a change?
MadCamel made an interesting suggestion about "pet-style" autofollow. That is, the follower stays a step behind the leader. This would permit autofollow in places like the yeti caves, and might make it easier to see whether followers are involved in combat. Thoughts? Requiring everyone in...

Re: Obsolete forum announcements and sections.
I've change the first three to normal topics so they no longer appear at the top.
As for the old forum sections, we are already looking at a reorganization of development forums.

Re: [DIS] Ending Trello and Graphics Development Forum
List of project: http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/Category:Projects Crypt is beginning to look like what the projects would be. We can add more categories for WIP stuff and art not on a larger project to keep track of it From the reasons you listed I understand moving away from Trello and the ...

Re: Auto-follow, is it time for a change?
We experienced splash attack in real dimension after o11c introduced it on main server. The negative effects to regular player have already been discussed, so it was removed and abandonned it it's actual form. We'd only have certain mobs splash, and they'd splash appropriately. So the poison skull,...

Re: Auto-follow, is it time for a change?
Adding splash damage to appropriate mobs will help break up those stacks (as they'll all get damaged by each attack). This will make the general auto follow abuse in combat not worth it.

Re: Amending GM Approval Rules
I think with the additional option, approval should be changed to greater than 50% of all votes, at least 3 times as many yes as no. So 11 yes, 3 no, 6 undecided would pass (Assuming 20 is the new threshold). Holy complications, Batman! As I understand it, the "undecided" option would be ...

Re: TMWC, may we please have a ruling!
Should be easy to do a system like how the game news is done (but less annoying). Have each language in a separate file (rules.[langauge_code]), a list of language code - language name pairs and a make target to compile them into the various formats, including make the current in game file completely.

Re: Amending GM Approval Rules
So I would rather like people to vote early with their gut-feeling, take part in the discussion, collect and look at arguments for or against the candidate, re-evaluate their stance and revote when it has changed. Regarding voting to abstain: It's pointless. When you have no opinion, just don't vot...
