Re: Sleep position?

I saw that, but I also see some people suggesting things like blankets, which could be an overlay, but I just thought I would restate that aspect. I personally would prefer a separate pose for sleeping myself. I know it is more work for the pixel artists, but I think it is work well spent. I also th...

Re: Sleep position?

Keep in mind that each new player position/animation requires the new position/animation to be done to EVERY piece of clothing as well. This is obviously not impossible, but the idea of adding new frames to every piece of armor is daunting. That is unless, of course, if you can make it work with the...

What about using them for seasonal changes, such as fall and spring?

No kidding Crush. I have a ton of music software that is just sitting idle on my compy. The music in these videos are great inspirations. If/when we get a music forum, we definitely should post these for inspirational pieces.

Re: What's an MMO...

Well, it goes without saying that Adobe Photoshop for Mac would definately do a good job, but for those who do not have such deep pockets, there is a program called Pixen which is not full of fancy features, but it will give you enough tools to pixel anything for TMW. The Gimp is another program ava...

Re: Bob Ross

I would KIND OF agree with Len. There are a lot of "out of character" NPCs in the game as it is, however, I really enjoy seeing references to other characters/events/stories inside of games. For example, World of Warcraft has a quest chain called the Linken quest chain. It follows a part o...

I am sure that it is possible to do right now, but the effort would be wasted because the server is going to be changed from eAthena to TMWServ. Once the change has been made to TMWServ, this should be a relatively simple task of calling for values from the sqlite server (I would imagine).

Silkroad has many issues on the conceptual front (I played it myself for two years). The headband idea allows for PvP for fun without consequence, which is a simple concept and can be implemented in a number of ways. World PvP is the hard thing to implement and keep fair. Silkroad does not address t...

That is awesome Crush! This is exactly what I was hoping for; something new innovative that has potential for new features in the future.

I have not done the back side yet, but I plan on extending the veins all the way around so they will meet in the back to be a big conglomerate of veins.

An eyeball placed on top of a characters body has already been done many times. The picture below is a screen shot from the popular Tony Hawk series.

It's a very good start, my five cents, try to get a transparent effect in the iris (green zone) and use more AA. It could use a bit more shading. I'm not exactly sure how to do the transparency (I tried and it looked like crap), and I don't know what "AA" is. I would love to learn how to ...

This is supposed to be the beginning of the downward motion, if that helps with perspective. Another idea popped into my head for animation. Instead of simply floating, I was thinking of doing some pulsating like this: http://drwahl.ath.cx/tmw/evileyemove.gif And here is an attempt at a different pe...

Evil Eyeball Monster

I wanted to get a new monster in the game thats attack will vary from the typical bite/hit/kick/spit/etc. I created this eyeball with the hope that it will shoot a laser beam from its cornea and eventually, cast magic spells. Before I begin animating it, I want to make sure that I have a good beginn...
