With the new server release we can now do Double Xp without restarting the server. In light of Candor's breakage we would like to have 1 day of Double Xp. We would like the players to pick which day they would like to have, but ask that it's within at least 7 days from now.

I support this until Candor is fixed.

But after talking with a few players (Arkhen being the main one), I don't think it would be wise to have it on a fixed day. It would allow the botters to plan for it.

I think planning a certain day is a great idea, it would encourage older players to return to the game and encourage levelling if gms are online that day bots shouldn't be a problem.

Agree, i think is about double exp duration or timings. If it's suppose to be activated for a whole one day, then as far as i know usually there are at least 3 hours of no GM time that could give advantage to botters. A way to prevent this problem is by activating double exp only when GMs are available. Although that means it's a bit not fair for people who mostly play in no GM hours. And, GMs must actively checks players, because if not, i'm afraid this event might encourage even more players to bots while frozen mobs bug is still not fixed. The other work around is by activating double exp locally inside town or boss fight area like Krukan, so that GM can easyly supervise and hard for botters to bots in boss fight area if that can be implemented in the future.

But everything is up to you guys, i voted Saturday because that means it is between Saturday evening and Sunday morning in my timezone if you guys using server time.

I really appreciate the fact that you've brought Double XP weekends back in the game, Wushin. I'd like to see Double XP weekend on Saturday the 9th.

I merely coded it. The community brought it back. For far too long I heard GMs, Admins, Devs, Players and complete strangers on the street say "This is good idea." The people wanted it and they got it.

Also Sat. the 9th it looks like it is going to be.

Well that sure is nice. Ha! I'll return home on Sat 9th, such a nice welcome-back gift.
