I think the most know the "TradeBot"
of Turmfalke. (It works very well!)
But i found there should be somethink new.
a npc that works like the TradeBot BUT
it just add to sell your items which are cheaper like that,
which are already in.
for example i see there is a pearl for 6000gp in it,
so if i want add it i have to make it cheaper
when the price is low it will get sold fast.
that makes that there is just one line for each kind of item in the list.
it should be a npc from the game and not
from one player thats make that it will be always online.
it will save noobs for sell stuff for to cheap prices depends on
that they dont know them.
u dont get nerved by players
who have to write often in public chat to sell their stuff.
BUT to trade from person to person
should be always allowed.
my en isnt the best so excuse me plz..

Re: idear for a new npc
I don't think this is too far fetched. What would be super awesome is to allow the ability to use the same NPC via each main location on the map.
Cool idea. I'm for it, totally.

Hm... I was thinking about this type of Trade Bot, but I found a lot of very difficult places of making this NPC, so in my mind it's not the best idea...

Since NPCs can't hold items AFAIK (at least on eAthena), and that's one big AFAIK, this is impossible.
Re: idear for a new npc
Not really. You can store what items the NPC currently has in global variables to emulate an on-npc inventory.poison_ivy wrote:Since NPCs can't hold items AFAIK (at least on eAthena), and that's one big AFAIK, this is impossible.
But the interface would be pretty awkward to use because the only way to give output from an NPC is through the NPC text window and the only way to interact with NPCs is through predefined answers, text input and number input.
We are not able to use the standard trade interface or any other graphical interface for NPC trading on eAthena.
