Terranite Cave Ownership anniversary

Post by willee »

As some of you probably noticed dead bunny, harvesting innocent grinders souls deep underground, there popped up some secret rogue party, which claims their ownership of terranite caves in memory of 3-years old take-over, made by Pleasant Company.

We'll hold it under siege for two weeks with no weekends or lunch but with one major difference: there are no tickets. And we don't make difference between noobs, mages or hobbits.

best regards - some rogue party

EDIT: some rogue fixes

That's stupid.

Of course it's stupid...it's a bunch of trolls who have nothing better to do. When you are bored of the game...log off, don't harass people :alt-=:

And don't pass it off as role-playing...your group knows that's not what it is. Don't sully the art of roleplaying with what you are doing.

In a game that has an established user base and isn't struggling with keeping new players, and PvP that's actually balanced and at least somewhat fair? Sure.

In TMW at this stage? There's nothing about this that I can support.

A few high level characters will have fun. Everyone else is going to be frustrated by it and possibly give up.

Does the Terranite cave supposed to be an area for lower levels players? do you really need this map to grind ore, coal or money?
The only thing you can get in terranite cave and not in other places is Terranite Ore and Amethysts. Both are needed for quests that were made for higher level players, Terranite armor 80+ and illia 90+.
for lower level players there are alternatives in the mines, tulminshar caves, Hermit tux cave, caves under hurns and Moggun caves to grind all the other materials present in terranite cave.
There is a warning sign at the entrance of Terranite cave saying its a pvp area and you need to be cautious, there is also a warning in the wiki about it and if you talk with other players in game they will probably also warn you about it when you want to do the Terranite armor quest.
in order to deal with the way terranite cave is designed, people hunt there in parties, mage themselves to have better chance in pvp and to have the ability to hide from inwilt. if these higher level players are frustrated about a bunch of assholes :alt-7: who decided to take over this cave, they can form a group of high level players and fight back. I think it was the idea behind this action to insert some pvp action to tmw.
So in conclusion terranite cave is not designed to be a grinding area for lower level players, if it was meant for lower level players and they are frustrated about it than it needs to be changed by design, which i think is a bad idea, but i dont know about these lower level players you talk about. and the other point is that higher level players can fight back.

Another point is that terranite armor quest is not that important, many players get to 99 before they finish it and some give it up all together. one of this players who didn't finish it till he was 99 is the one who made this topic.

Pvp has always been unfairly balanced. The terror cave has always been pvp. If you get to level 60+ you know this. The worry should be about the ones that play and cant figure out what the Duck is going on around lvl 10-20, in regards to retention.

the cave has always been pvp, if you don't like to pvp then don't go to the cave its simple.

the last time this happened people stood up to the people "claiming" the cave and challenged them. Do the same if you want to go into the cave that bad.

Me and friends did it and personally it was fun challenging people who think they can claim such a place.

and it was fun...killing them over and over and over

They will get bored sooner or later. I think this will bring some fun to pvp.

However players from levels 10-20 can't barely survive in Terra cave. They can't even kill a single spider, and barely kill red slimes, which are present in a giant quantity for a low level player.

All I can think is no wonder people are abandoning this game to find something they can actually enjoy playing. TMW is now full of people who enjoy turning what is supposed to be a fun experience and turning it into a headache.

PvP is in no way balanced in this game. We all know that a mage can kill any of the other classes with ease...so there is no point in even trying. Using PvP as an excuse is a stupid reason to take your boredom and frustrations out on others.

Good one Phoenix Council...you guys continue to exist to make the lives of our player base harder. Awesome way to make more people hate your guild.

Pvp on a map doesn't make people turn away from the game, this exact same thing happened a few years ago here which brought *more* people logging in more to participate in destroying them.

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11464&hilit=terran ... +ownership

viewtopic.php?f=12&t=11506&hilit=terran ... p&start=15

people complained at first then realized complaining on the forum would do nothing for them. PVP in the terranite cave isn't going anywhere and this *is* part of role playing on a role playing game.

If people have problems with people pvping in the cave they should form up a team and beat them out of the cave, simple as that.

IMO this is better and more exciting than having people bot in the caves and have their mains sit in town all day.

Chicka...those posts are 3 years old or did you not see the date of them? Our playerbase is tiny now compared to back then.

What part of pvp isn't at all an option in this game do you not understand? Our three classes are in no way balanced to make it fun. If you are a mage, you will kill everyone. Warriors and archers have no chance. So it's just mage vs mage and who has the most levels and iron powders. How is that fun?
