I think the entire chimney should be fatter. I think the top should have the same width as a tile. The bottom should be 1.5 - 2 tiles. I understand Crush is trying to save tilespace but I think this chimney is too thin.
Oh also, the angled part of the bottom doesn't have a visible top.

Apart from that, good work Crush.

It doesn't seem like it should hold together with those odd rocks and being so thin. Also seems like a fireplace in a house that has a straw roof might burn down soonish.

some little objects i added:

The fence isn't mine. i took it from the desert tileset. but whats new is:
  • the stack of firewood
  • the hacking place (axe by yosuhara)
  • the barrel
  • the glass
i would like to have some opinions about these objects.

i like it crush! it really makes you feel that it isnt just a mission objective, but that people actually live in there.

every object looks fine, only doors maybe can use some more contrast or shades to define it more from walls around it... that's all i have to say.. yet :D

edit no1.: we also need a woodland village fence...

The window should be really dark instead of bright blue, take a look at >this<.
Barrels have metal rings around them to keep the boards together, this barrel couldn't survive gravity. Also there are some issues with the arc of the boards. The far side boards make a more subtle bend then the board less on the side. I suggest you make a good concept drawing on how the boards would be projected onto a 2D screen.

Oh and I think it would be better if there was just a little bit of grass in front of the lowest step, as people tend to skip that piece of the ground.

Apart from that, I really like the look of the stack of firewood.

Ok I know the fence is not by you but it doesn't melt just because of a different contrast.

About the barrel, could be my screen but I can barely notice the difference between the top and the rest. I'd make the border of the top slightly darker.

I love the pile of wood.

The stairs look fine.

the problem with the fence is the outline. without it it would look fine.
