Developers meetings

Now that I got some more spare time and I see there are a lot of new people willing to contribute, I feel necessary to restore the weekly meetings.

I'm addressing everyone who's interested in coding the client, the server, bugfixing and patch creation. The meeting will be open to artists, mappers and everyone involved in contents development in general.

This is not the final decision but I'll settle a date or we will never reach an agreement. So the next developer meeting will be on:

Monday 16/01/2006 20:00 GMT
#manaworld-dev @ irc.freenode.net

Topics:
  • Server::remove support for other scripting languages
  • Server::coordinates system
  • Server::getting rid of SDL
  • Server::supported operating system
  • Server::release packages
  • Client::general development
  • Client::gui/logic
  • Client::protocol handlers
  • Client::graphics splitting
  • Client::updates system
Please report any request for date/time change and help me create a list of who will participate and what's needed to talk about.

Regards.

Bertram: noy yet, we're open to suggestion, everyone keep in mind that we use SDL for timers, threading and network layer.

Pajarico: well it's only a matter of getting it done, if completed it will be added to next version without problems, modifying the code it's really easy.
