Im learning and reading on wiky and forum . I compiled all without errors ( client ,server,library )
Created and updated mana.db and so on

My goal is install client and server on my machine ( Ubuntu 10.10 Maverick Meerkat )

may be I'm a bit tired or just a newbie but i cant connect to local server ...
so I decided to ask you a little help

These are my past bin

I checked and turn off my firewall.
The Clientdata and Serverdata are based on example data
Manaserv.xml, Data, account and game server executable, are in the src folder

Can you help me ?

3. IP: 127.0.0.1
4. Port: 9601
5. Server type: ManaServ

My client is Mana 0.5.1. I dont know where write "ManaServ" . It accept just IP and Port




Im reading again my manaserv.xml

Sry but since start I have selected 'Custom server" with 127.0.0.1 and 9601 or ManaServ and 9601
I can see just two text box

The 0.5.* client line supports only tmwAthena servers.

To connect to a Manaserv server you need the 0.1.0 client.

anyway ,I downloaded your 0.1 from repository :


I dont want bother you but the Readme file and the news file talk about 0.5.1 version , not the 0.1


EDIT :
Readme file and new file talk about 0.5.1 version, but they are the 0.1 ( as you told me)
(on the window client I read v1.0.0 )
