Mini Quest: Lora Tay and the Sorcerer Robes

Post by v0id »

A new mini quest has been added on the test server, and is planned to come with the next content release.
It starts at Selim when you ask him about sorcerer robes.

We welcome the usual feedback about it (dialogs, especially Lora Tay's new ones), but also about the new colors that have been chosen for the line of the new sorcerer robes, which is now dyeable. :)

the dialogs are funny (i didn't check the grammar) and the robes (5000-5109) look nice expecially these with bright color ligns like green or light blue. If possible a little adjustment with darker colors (now they are barly visable) but not very nessecary, there are enought colors to choose.

Hi,
you could maybe add more precision in Sellim part about the line,
"what about these lined sorcerer robes"
"hum, ... ,this line is too thin and i only operate on
large pieces". And later on" your tailor will need to replace
this line ..."

Lora Tray new ones just fit her style...
Didn't tried all the possible colors, a few ones on a plain white one,
witch seems to draw nicely, black, purple lines on "white".

Nice way to make our characters more "unique".

I figured out that the cotton cloths needed are still missing some color:
Dark Blue Cotton Cloth ( 2252 ) is plain white
Red Cotton Cloth (2250 ) same here

 Chay
Thanks, fixed.

Did you see what Selim says about the tailor already? I thought it was enough hint :)

Code: Select all

[Selim]
Hum, I fear I can't do that. The area is too small and I can operate only on large ones.
But with the appropriate materials, maybe a talented tailor can make the change.

Hi,
I guess that getting a sorcerer robe is largely enough to be able to understand
waht he is talking about.
At a first glance i thought he was takling about his shop, "area" ...
Being an non english native speaker doesn't allowed me more comments.

how about making each of the different colors have different stats?
The items file has each of them in different entries, so, I'd think it wouldn't be too hard to do that.
ie
dark green = more def, with a slight negative m.attack
red = more m.attack, less def
...

adjust values as seen fit

Hello V0id,

Is there a possibilty to add an option with Candide to keep the line color without bleach it that we did with Lora Tay?

So, we can if we wish, just bleach only the color of the Sorcerer Robe.

My opinion about the lines color:

I need more contrast between each color for a better view. Because the lines color are thin, i.e. like pink and orange, dark green and black.

The best views are red, purple, yellow, light blue, the light green and dark.

Regards,

Johanne

All worked fine for me RAS.
Just one point: The extra dye is very expensive for rare colors with little differences. (2 cloths needed)

I completely agree with Nard, I do not waste my money just for a line color :!:

Have a look for 2 Purple dyes for 2 cotton cloths:

For 2 Purple dyes
80,000 (2 vials)
2 pearls
200 cobalt leaves
200 alizarin leaves
40 mauves leaves
25,000 to change the line with Lora Tay.

I'll change my mind if these dyes are 2 for 1, that will be a deal! :)
