This forum houses many years of development, tracing back to some of the earliest posts that exist on the board.
Its current use is for the continued development of the server and game it has always served: TMW Classic.

I'm a fan of "Toxishroom". Adding a small potential to be poisoned would be awesome. It would give us a nice low level(ish?) mob that poisons.

Regarding the stats, so far I'm making them similiarly to their 'nice' versions, but with slightly lower hp, since they're going to be aggressive, and are going to be spawned in larger groups.Big Crunch wrote: It would give us a nice low level(ish?) mob that poisons.

One thing you can do to make the color go over better is to add highlights of the body color to the horns.
The secret to getting all the important stuff done is doing nothing.

I will need a bit more time.
Right now a friend is looking at some sprites.
It will give me a good learning effect and I hope I can go on quicker then.
Meanwhile I tried to implement an idea I had about the Moonshroom's hat.
It's still very beginner-like and therefore of course not finished yet: I will need some technical advices here.
Those are 21 sprites, each one is 200ms long in this animated gif.
Is this fine?
Edit: Maybe the clouds should be bigger, hmm...

Try to follow the mushroom spritesheet without carrying of this hat animation, it can be added after through an other sprite. It will be easier to manage the animation like that.

A few years back I was dicing up all of our "subspecies" monsters into component layers so they could be easily dyed, reassembled, or given alternate accessories for any variety of subspecies or purposes. I had thought I had committed all the pieces years back to Git, but I don't see them in there. My personal repo is a mess of half-thoughts, so I can't find the xml's ant the face animation layers. Luckily there's some pieces still on my image shack if these are helpful on this. I still encourage component layers as mush as possible for subspecies.
North-South jumping example of the base:
The accessory arm layer for the evil mushroom is somewhere out there (I'm still looking), and the xmls, and the faces.
Hope these are helpful. I know had a post somewhere out there with those things, sigh.

I changed the topic name since the names of the mobs are almost clear now.
As some people, who are not on IRC, seem to follow this, here is the current standing: Only the attacking sprites and death animations are missing (and the details).
I hope I can finish them this week (won't be there between Friday and Sunday).
Sorry it takes so long, I take the time to not only drawing them, but also to learn from what I'm doing
