Here is an idea: Implement a new packet CMSG_MAP_SERVER_RECONNECT. It would use the same session id1 and id2, account id and char id, what was got on normal connect. For example, you lose internet just for a minute (at Cindy, Candor, or Illia), and when it's back, you can't go back to the same area.
One of problems is: it could break some quests. But would it, really? If player loses connection, his avatar just stands there and does nothing. It can still be killed etc.
I'd like to hear those who have knowledge of server code, would it be too much trouble to implement?
