Sea Drops vanashing way too fast...

Post by ebattleon »

Ok I play Mana in a older(achient) Dell GX 280 with 2.8 GHz CPU and 2G memory and the sea drops disappear before I have a chance to notice them so you may want to consider a little longer hang time for them.
Oh and the OS is Ubuntu 12.04 LTS just in case.

That's a server's data setting, nothing to do with your laptop/OS. ;)

Edit: You're right, this is way too rapid. I will change the "drop time" for the next release, thanks for catching this both.

I changed the vanishing time of the item from 1,5s to 6s, it's a parameter on the item db.
(vanishing time: When you drop the item on the floor)

1) I still don't understand... why shouldn't it the same as the other items?
2) Is the default vanishing time on Evol different than on TMW, cause I afair, on TMW, they disappeared after like... 60 seconds or so. So?

Reid, I see some logic in this short timeout (IMO). I think, Sea Drops, for example, turns into a vapor (or something like this). This is the reason why Sea Drops vanishing faster than other items.
It is not hard to collect Sea Drops - I collected over 40 Sea Drops :P
ebattleon and all who have this problem: try to press 'Z' key repeatedly to faster take this drops. And if you really need this drops, ask me :), I can give some drops for free.

It was designed this way yes, to turn into vapor or to vanishing under the ground/sand. Though, I wanted a 15 seconds delay, and I've added 1,5s by mistake. :)

I've changed it to 6 seconds which fit much this item, because 15 is a bit too slow and 1,5 is really too fast. :)

The Sea Drop price is 1E :) (am I correct name this new money?)
I see no problem if I give some drops to someone who really need it :)
PS: I need a storage at the ship. I'm overweighted every time I play.

Ahhhh!!
I forgot about. x_x
The problem is not the storage, it's an item which is costing more than what it should... Tortuga's shell if I'm not wrong.

https://gitorious.org/evol/serverdata/c ... 438700d42e
Corrected. ^^

The other items should be normal, and other than that, the introduction should be too short for a newby to have as many items than we all have. >.>
So we will need to wait for the city to have the storage/bank NPC!

Today I noticed
Tortuga Shell, 708
is 325 Florin

Sold all mine to lighten up to be able to heal again.
Can sell them for 30 E :3

Edit: But could the weight be changed back again to 95 Florin?
