Well i've been thinking and i thought why don't have a Chat in the game?

Like much rpg games has you open a chat to talk with your friends or just open an dialog box to say like "i'm not here" "AFK" "Buy=XXX" "Sell=xxx" you understand me...

Well thats just what i think =P

There is already a chat?

i don't think so there is?

To chat simply press the Enter key.
A text box will then apear at the bottom of the screen.
Type your message in it, then press the Enter key again to "say" it.

This i know not this kind o chat,

if u already played ragnarok or mu online you will understand it's not a chat it's a like a room chat... like a announcement

Chat channels has been discussed. I think they're a long way from finished.

AFK sign or character pose would be very practical. This has also been discussed. What happened to the animations? Some of them was good.

Maybe they could create and AFK sign really easy create like a emoticon but the emoticon stands there until the key is pressed.. like you push the key alt+a and an emoticon is on the screen "AFK" and the character cannot move... so when you back and press alt+a the emoticon gones and the char is "free" to move =P

The problem is we want perfection.
Just a sign above the characters head was deemed boring and I agree, now. When we discussed it I just wanted a AFK function and didnt care if it was boring or ugly but as said, now I do.

There was some ideas of a sleeping lying/sitting character with animated sleep bubbles or ZZZ above it. Imho they was good enough to use but that might be me remembering wrong. I dont feel like searching for the thread.
Searching for AFK in the subject line would probably get you to it.
