TMWServ Development Report January 2008
Posted: 01 Feb 2008, 09:18
As you might have noticed I didn't post any development reports in the last months. The reason is that there hasn't been anything to report. The server development was quite dead for a while because most programmers hadn't got any freetime for TMW.
But in January we started developing again and made a very crucial step: Characters can now collect experience for their weapon skills, gain character levels and distribute character points on their attributes. This brings us much closer to a playable game.
The biggest milestones that have to be taken before we can start a first public alpha test are different monster types read from a config file and porting the world content. By the way: We are still searching for volunteers who convert the eAthena NPC scripts into LUA (as far as the current script bindings allow it) and put the current eAthena warp areas into the map files.
