Crush and Merlin - Thanks for placing all the information for me. Will come in very useful for creating stuff. Idea of Dimonds Cove reminds me a little of Chrono Trigger, where you can ask a pianist to play something for you. A nice touch to incorporate in if do-able...

GonzoDark, thank you. Glad you like it... Yes, that dark bit was to out of place, but should make something good elsewhere...

I had a listen to anexplorer - it's very good! And no bad thing to be compared to ;)... Check out SGX on my friends list on myspace... he also has his own site http://www.sgxmusic.com/ - This guy's good! ;)

dariunas: now someone should create your last.fm page. I played Hurnscald looped for a while and suddenly realized that I got last.fm scrobler on. After 30~50 loops I noticed that you should have now own last.fm page. Actually you could be really famous game music maker ;)

So far so good, but I thought it would be better as a cave theme? the cave under Dimonds Cove maybe? (the cave under Dimonds Cove is not done yet, but this is definitely the type of music I would use there)

But it is not up to me, so what do you other think about it?

You forgot to put proper tags in last song. Since the idea of scrobling music on last.fm is based on id3 tags they really matters.

Btw the song is light and gentle, well balanced, a bit too short but it loops perfectly. IMO it could be a bit longer (about 1 min instead 43sec) and also contain maybe one more instrument. Something discreet. Maybe sound of water drops?

Very nice. I like the medieval style. But I think you shouldn't use that accoustic ambient filter (reverb? delay?) that much to make it sound more like a band playing in a closed room.

Ah yes, :) The song is not ready just yet, just wanted to get an idea of how it was on track for a tavern-like theme, when the final one is done, all tags will be intact and will be in MP3 format for last.fm  Instrument-wise, there will be more interest going on in with more things coming in and out ;)

lol, I used a 'Medium Stage' setting for the reverb on the instruments, set at levels for each individual instrument and then a very small reverb on the whole mix allow it all to gel a bit better. And yes, it was exactly for the purpose you were after, but you would rather not have it sound like that? Or is it that you want me to pull the effect back a little bit?

Pulling it back a bit would be enough.

Sounds woderfull. The looping is little harsh going from the drums to noe right away, but I relize this isn't a finished product. I think it would sound great in the cove.

Thank you Merlin :)

Have pretty much done with this one now...

http://www.infectedmusicdesigns.co.uk/T ... 20Cove.ogg

There are a couple of places where it might need a little tweaking. I'll come back to this track later and see as a few sections sounds a little cluttered and a few transitions could be smoothed, but apart from that, it's pretty much done...

it might be a little while before I do the next track as I will be spending most of next week overhauling my PC, which means rebuilding the actual hardware with new cables and hard drive, re-install OS... all that kinda stuff.

Hope you like the track. Someone mentioned there was a cave under Dimond's Cove... I might be able to use some of the music material to create a new track for the cave. I haven't seen the location, but I'll try my best.

Great work, Darunas. It really makes me feel like being in a medieval tavern.

What are you going to do next? A new track for the forest outdoor area, maybe?
