Arctic village

Hi all,

I came up with something in between doing Hurnscald and Dimonds Cove. I just stumbled upon it this morning due to the bizzare name I'd given it. As always for inital drafts, it's not finished. (though it does loop, which... it just happens to...)

I think the length is ok, could maybe bring it closer to 2 mins, and introduce some more harmony...

I'll try again later - sorry about that guys. Will post again when the track is on...

Ok, I've done this manually, seems to be an issue with validating my ftp client at the moment. Link should be working fine now...

lol, thanks Shalli

TMW developers, are you happy enough to continue this as a track for the ice town/village? What's the actual name of the location...?

I quite like the track. I could also imagine to use it for the wildernes around it. There is just an extreme volume difference between the instrument.

The snow village has never been named, AFAIK.

Cool

I'll probably have this done before the forest track. Crush, I'll address the balance issues you raised in final mixdown - if you feel there's still any balance issues in any of the other tracks, please let me know, I don't mind re-mastering of these if they can sound nicer.

GonzoDark, nice pic lol - it reminds me of the bit in Scary Movie when the 'killer' gets high on weed

Dariunas, you make great fantasy music. The instruments also sound very life-like. Also the accoustics have something 'full'. I'm really wondering: What software do you use?

Um... I know about the original scream painting lol - just that what's been done with this version reminds me of what they did with the Scream mask in Scary Movie... do you see?

Thank you Othello! Gonzo's answered your question for me, though my usual setup is Reason as a slave application within Sonar, for these tracks I used Reason alone :)
