My friend was leaning over my shoulder and saying that the orange icon is too small.
She said it looked like a pumpkin. Now this is my friend not me!
But you could make it a bit bigger now that I think about it.

I think the size is just right compared to the apple icon
but my mom always told me not to compare apples to oranges.

You're just approaching it wrong. What makes you think about oranges when you see a juice box?



Use the cut rendition. It is an icon, it represents what you have. Icons should always be instantly recognizable.

This is something I haven't posted but drawed a time ago, when I was drawing the orange icon:


I just didn't like the cutted version... and with the smaller version I think it's even harder to make it look right when it's cutted.

It just has some minor shape/perspective issues you need to figure out.

Also has infinitely more potential to be instantly recognized.

Yes, the cut version really does look a lot nicer! And it does need some work on perspective, a quick google image search turns up this and that seems to be a more accurate picture. (it's real after all) so just try to use that as a reference.

I don't know if I'm old fasioned or just crazy, but it looks like an orange to me.

I guess it dosen`t need to be bigger. By the way, I think I should type on my computer instead of my Wii...
