Zoned defence

I was just wondering, will the new TMWServ be capable of a system of zoned defence? For example, I fail to see how a helmet would be much good against a floor creature like a maggot, or a pair of boots against a bat.

There is no concept like that implemented nor is it planned.

That's an interesting idea -- it would add an additional component to gameplay requiring defensive strategies...
