No, not really. The GPL explicitly allows commercial use.

I think Its preferable to have player made content, the less we take from 3rd parties the better :!:

All official content of TMW is licensed under the GPL. Thus we can not accept any content which may not be used commercially.

Sounds suspiciously too familiar to me and yes, silly enough of a matter, but legal issues bind us from using CC-nc. Which sometimes is sad.
