MIDI files is supported ?
Hello, MIDI files for maps musics in-game, is support by engine ?
I think it´s a good idea to put the space in control, ogg files reach more or less 5, 6 MB, and midi files only some kb.

We are more than willing to sacrifice the space for the quality.

Especially since music is a separate download.Rotonen wrote:We are more than willing to sacrifice the space for the quality.

Also note that not every system uses the same sound bank to render midi tracks. This means that the same midi track can sound completely different on two different systems.
- former Manasource Programmer
- former TMW Pixel artist
- NOT a game master
Please do not send me any inquiries regarding player accounts on TMW.
You might have heard a certain rumor about me. This rumor is completely false. You might also have heard the other rumor about me. This rumor is 100% accurate.

Would it be possible to include our own sound bank?Crush wrote:Also note that not every system uses the same sound bank to render midi tracks. This means that the same midi track can sound completely different on two different systems.

Which is pretty much exactly what we're doing anyway. Just that some of our composers tend to have a bit more complex of a sequencing standard at use than MIDI.Forge wrote:The best for music could be to convert midi into ogg, at the production point, not the end-user.
Once, not for every release.
