Is this game set in the same world as ours? ...no.
Dude... there are blobs of slime crawling through the desert.

It's not a dinosaur btw, it's mammel.
He has skin, not scales and he's got some hair on top of his otherwise bald head. I don't know any dinosaurs with hairs, only with feathers.
Maybe it's the tail that makes everybody think it's a dinosaur.

To me he looks more like a hippo, and a hippo/rhino is not a reptile

Thanks for the comment though.

I thought maybe it's the name...
It isn't SAUR though, it's SOR... like in DESTRUCTOR or THROBULATOR.

Just a few hairs on top of his head. (3 to be exact)

And yes I will animate like I have animated... before!

This could be a really nice miniboss where groups of 10 people will try to get it down with they're bows, but be careful, this one is very fast when he starts to run

It would be a REALLY mini-boss, it's not that big. I think this size of creatures could and should be normal for harder creatures.

Maybe we could recolour it for mini-boss. Or only the mini-boss can storm at you. :P

Walking animation so far. It needs another frame (it's using one 'standing'-frame that should be replaced) and some work on the other frames. Just showing progress.

And only the limbs are dynamical: the entire base of the body is static.

If you look well there's only one leg missing.
Remember the view is slightly from the top.

I agree the body needs to be more dynamic I'll be working on that. Although my test-week is starting in 1.5 weeks, and I need to finish some stuff for school before that, not to mention I need to study for the tests. So I will be busy with other things the next 2-3 weeks. Maybe I'll find some time to work on TMW.
And thanks for the comment ofcourse.

This seemed like the best thread to add my new armor sketch...
Wooden armor:
Image

It's a near to A4-sized pencil and coloured pencil sketch of the woodland or jungleland native armor. I was thinking about maybe adding some paint/war-colours to the panels.

I don't like the fact I used metal in the helmet, it should be carved out of wood as well. I'm afraid that erasing will mess up the drawing, but maybe I'll do it anyway sometime...
Or I will make a seperate drawing for the helmet.

Great, except I'm not that sure about the functionality of the headpiece..

Additionally you could one day finish "the infamous herbivore".

*sigh*... I'll think of something... like the wearers rank, or camoflage (hiding the real body-shape), or intimidation.
Besides, if we're going to design equipment merely by fuction we'd run out of variations pretty fast. Would be quite boring don't you think? :?

I currently have the task to do some Tulimshar concept, and that's what I'm working on right now. I'll finish the monster some other day.
