Until one day a vulcano erupted, which killed all crabpeople. Some of the sea-folk survived the catastrophe. Their sworddesigner, who was a great fan of the crabpeoples shows, made a sworddesign tributed to the crabpeople. The few other sea-folk survivors liked the idea of showing gratitude to the crabpeople, and so it was decided the national sea-folk logo would be a crabs claw. The sword fitted mighty fine in this idea and became the standard issue sword of the sea-folk national guard...
Hahahahahahahaha

Well put.

It might look nicer if you made him kind of waddle like a turtle or a lizard instead of running more like a cheetah like he's doing now.

I agree and I'll probably redo the whole animation once I get to the Herbagressor again.

For the mammal...

My first tougth was: this is an overweigthed dinno from the flinstones...

If is a mammal, it needs more armour, or more defense weapons... Make the tail larger and add a bone hammer at the end... That way, just looks like a big hamburger for alien-predators (think the green alien-mantis from crush)

The horn, pointing that way, will avoid the animal to eat, or then, we need tiled bushes so it has an ecology to survive...

It looks nice, so far...

Yup, having a first boss would be great !
I have to admit, I didn't really play since... hmm must be over a month, cos I
can easily kill all of the Monsters ingame. We need a challenge for teamwork. :)

(If you're wondering: I'm level 53)

The captain resembles Sinbad the sailor to me, which per se is not bad, but..

The ship looks like a spaceship, which could be the wrong association here.

The "snowman" is of original-ish design, at least..

The drake is a bit too humanoid to my taste.

The furry thingy will be put into production, it's just too adorable.

The wanderer looks a bit like a ragdoll, doesn't it..?

Yet another round of half empty opinions, glad to be of any help.

Yea, I thought he looked a bit too gay already.

So does the Carnival Glory when you edit a photo of it.

What I mean it mostly depends on setting and texture. Imagine it floating it in the ocean, it built of wooden planks and it's hull covered with barnicles and moss... and without jet engines. Still looks like a spaceship?
I kind of see what you mean though, it's the top-view isn't it?
Rotonen wrote:The drake is a bit too humanoid to my taste.
But it doesn't have nipples.

No... and yes... His coat is made of leather. And it's battle scarred. The guy may be good but he gets hit sometimes, or at least his coat does. So then he skinnes a wild animal and tans his hide. After that he stitches the leather over the hole in his jacket, sitting at a campfire in the middle of the desert.
He's not a kapitalist, you see. He's a lone survivor that doesn't really care a lot about n00bs or other people. He probably did something when he was about 21 years old that he regrets but can't forget.

lol I know!
I think it looks fine. :D
I think it'd work better in a volcanic/eternal night environment, but I guess the desert would work too.

I like the ship a lot too. In top view, it does seriously resemble a slick starfighter, but maybe if you made it a little less curvy and threw some nets over it, it'd work!
I also like the fact that the captain is sorta Arabian-style, it suggests he is from a far-away land. Unless you happened to be Arabian yourself. Then that'd probably just be stereotypical. lol.

I think the scavenger looks pretty gnarly as well, good job on the sketches. =]
