IMHO, this doesn't need to be redone. The current indicator works just fine and looks great. There's plenty of other things that are in need of assistance or being redone out there (I'm looking at you Nivalis!)

That's all good, though, the reason I choose this is because I prefer simple stuff as I'm still a noob pixel artist. I'm a bit of an artist in real life, so I'm picking up the style pretty fast. Have a look at my avatar
