Free Inspiration

Yo! I'm new. :D

So here is a somewhat giant (photobucket resized it) image with a whole bunch of sketchy things.
If you are a pixel artist, feel free to borrow any inspiration from them
because I need to learn how to do pixel art first.
Plus, I will probably be busy until school ends, so (again) feel
free to do whatever you like with these reeeally rough sketches.

I'm always free to suggestions too! Critiquing is nice.
(Keep in mind, though, this was all done in only an hour or so,
and without too much thought while I was doodling, so expect
mistakes in anatomy at least once in awhile, if not more often)

I'll also make close-ups of specific pictures if requested.

Otherwise, see if you can get any inspiration from this!

(And I'll probably make more : 8) )

I was designing hostile creatures for people to pixel art.
Like, normal creatures or bosses... you could choose...

I was just trying to contribute somehow instead of sitting
here not doing anything while I'm trying to study -.-'

When designing monsters, some preliminary animation sequence sketches would be appreciated. Preferably in the correct perspective for ease of usage for pixel artists.

I love your sketch Karix, you are really good doodling with fast lines.
I was playing with your Twin Hydra concept and get something I called "hydragon"... is like a collage from the Twin Hydra parts. Finally the pixel result looks good, but it seems really hard to get a full animation (but with work everything can be done).
I wish the example can be useful to you.... nice draws! :)

Thank you!
That looks really cool; I had no idea you could directly 'pixelate' something like that!
*Need to learn pixel art as soon as I can!*

I am going to work on the animation sequence sheets as soon as APs and finals are over,
or if I have time between studying. :) Thank you for letting me
know what step should be next! (or else I might've continued randomly doodling
without knowing that I wasn't contributing much at all.)

also feel free to upload some drawings to the wiki. That way, even if you lose interest (hopefully you dont :P ) we still have your wonderful art.

The most helpful sketches of sprites include a front facing, back facing, and at least one side profile (with perspective in mind), but any examples of movement make it very sweet to trace in and flesh out! :D
