Do you still need maps?

First post.

I've been playing for a while now, and would like to create some maps. However ...

I can't work out the relation between this map:

http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... raster.jpg

and the actual game maps. I understand that Hurnscald is the "woodland village", but where is Tulimshar? The actual geography of the above overview doesn't seem to match the maps. Is there something I've missed?

Crush said (six months or so ago) "we don't really need any more maps".

Is my energy better spent elsewhere?

thanks,

The whole desert area is supposed to be on another continent. The landbridge is a temporary solution.

This statement is very outdated. We are again in need of some new maps:
