I will be doing all my coding and content in American English, if we do decide to use British. So one will just have to translate my work.

I don't know what defferences are.

Maybe... I'm learning American English

but I won't vote because even if it was decided on British English, I can speak only American English.

The differences are marginal. It's mostly the spelling. The british are writing colour, the american color, for example.

There are also a few words which are different. British cars tank "petrol", american cars "gas".

We were using american english in the sourcecode until now. I think it would be a waste of time to change the spelling everywhere and for consistency and to avoid confusion we should use the same spelling for texts displayed to the user.

You have persuade me. I vote for American English!!! Oher ideas are absolute nonsense. Why should someone translate it to British English...

Ænglisc is Ancient English's proper name. The very word "English" comes from the word Ænglisc. Ænglisc is named after the germanic tribe of the Angles, who were the ones to first speak the language, and the people who founded England (Ængaland). This is also why the French word for English is Anglais.

Middle English is the language that was spoken in England during the Renaissance period, and the language that gave birth to the Scots and English languages.
