Re: [WIP] Tutorial Island architecture
So what about that roof tile? Is it good enough to fit our concept?
And improved version ;) EDIT2/3:
Version with some more details EDIT4:
I've started topic (http://forums.themanaworld.org/viewtopic.php?f=8&t=8926) to take over roof discussion from here.

Re: [WIP] Tutorial Island architecture
Sorry for this comment but still I would like to compare Bizantyne with Japan (classic) I love the building shapes they are full of art and engineering.
Edit : never mind, we can use that on a different place.
Edit2 : please work on small buildings like shops, library, bank, inn etc.
Edit 3 : http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... loukas.JPG
I'll use this image to pixelart the tower. I find it very nice.
1. In the left side you can see stones (white) with bricks (brown/red clay) but also nice shapes and variations,
2. big white spots with red stripes or even blocks,
3. look at the top right side of the building there is a beautiful nice red carved ornament I would like to reproduce somehow.
4. the roof you made matches perfectly with this building, and because is also clay the colors are the same.
5. I like the idea of pure white windows, what you think ?
Regards
