Char-server connection issue

Running each server seperately by cd eathena-data /.login-server& and the others after i load up the map-server i get this:

Attempt to connect to char-server...
set eof :4
Map-server can't connect to char-server (connection #4).

Also, when trying to login it takes forever, and then it tells me "no servers available"

I have checked my port numbers / IP all are set to 127.0.0.1 (all servers are on one computer)

Someone said i had to port forward the server's port numbers, which i tried, but i don't know how exactly to do that. if that is the issue i'll gladly delve into google to look up how to do it accurately, however i don't believe this is the case. anyone have any ideas?

Info:
eAthena 0.0.29.1
Ubuntu 9.10
*is a noob

Run char-server before map-server. Login, then char, then map.

The Izzet League server has been intialized
Login server IP address : 127.0.0.1 -> 127.0.0.1
Character server IP address : 127.0.0.1 -> 127.0.0.1
---start reading of Lan Support configuration...
LAN IP of map-server: 127.0.0.1.
Sub-network of the map-server: 127.0.0.1.
Sub-network mask of the map-server: 255.255.255.255.
LAN test of LAN IP of the map-server: LAN test (result): LAN source.
---End reading of Lan Support configuration...
mmo_char_init: No character found in save/athena.txt.
can't read db/exp_guild.txt
save/castle.txt - making Default Data...
save/castle.txt - making done
cant't read : save/g_storage.txt
The char-server is ready (Server is listening on the port 6122).

thats all IT says.

hmm after that it says this;

Attempt to connect to login-server...
used: 3, max FDs: 1024, SOFT: 974
Can not connect to login-server.
The server communication passwords (default s1/p1) is probably invalid.
Also, please make sure your accounts file (default: accounts.txt) has those values present.
If you changed the communication passwords, change them back at map_athena.conf and char_athena.conf
Attempt to connect to char-server...
set eof :4
Map-server can't connect to char-server (connection #4).

Did you copy the save/account.txt.example file like you did with the ones in the conf folder?

So, save/accounts.txt has an account called s1 with the password p1? And you didn't change those in the char-server conf file?

.. uh no, The account.txt and all _local files that wanted sl + pl have been changed but all still match.

EDIT:
i have made an additional file called "accounts.txt" (because apperently i was missing an S off the first one, i made sure all the passwords were set to s1 not L (didn't see the difference from the terminal till i actually read your post;;) i made sure char- and map-local all have s1 aswell. but still i cannot log in or connect, same errors on the terminal and TMW game.

Assuming you haven't registered any accounts, please attach the accounts file you have.

EDIT: although i use the same name in there, my password for the rest is different. so don't even try.

OK, the S1 account was destroyed. Change the gender (the standalone F) to the server "gender" (S). Make sure it has the same capitalization as the username/password in the char-server configuration files.
