Leather patch

I need a leather patch and went to Pachua to get one made. According to the wiki I only need one snake skin, which I have, and some GP. However Pachua only said he can make me something if I have the right ingredients. Have I missed a step somewhere?

Thanks for your response. I've end up getting the Knight's Helmet from Nicholas. However, I'll still do that quest, now that I know there is a certain order of things.
One more question. Now that ores need to be forged into ingots, do I still present 10 ores to Nicholas or do I need to turn them into ingots in Tulimshar?
BTW my in-game name is 'Jubo' - the guy with a winged helmet wearing a black sweater.

You need 6 iron ingots, 2 infantry helmets, 20000 GP, leather patch for iron shield...

The almighty Pinkies dont know you will also need 12 Coals on you. You don't use them but you will need them on you otherwise Nicolas wont give you the option to make them.

Thanks for the tip - I was wondering about the coal. It seems that nowadays coal is always required in anything to do with metal.
