I completed the letter quest and tried to repeat it. The father gave me the letter a second time but the daughter did not pick it up (no relevant choice in the conversation with her). Have I missed a step somewhere?

I had same problem, she accepted my letter after I completed 50 bones quest. All letters afterward she accepted without any problems.

Thanks for the tip. Sounds like I have to finish the Bones quests first.

whats you gain when you complete the quest ?

I haven't completed the bones quest yet.
