char-server problems

ok when i boot up my servers one by one they boot up fine then i goto login i login fine my problem is that i i cant connect to my char server and it shows everythings fine in the terminal any help would be nice thanks

You probably have a messed up lan-support.conf.

The one shipped with recent tmwa-server-test should be satisfactory. (We are expected -test to be pushed to the main repository withing a week or two).

Regardless of your intentions, I suggest tracking the development repository for now. Converting from the current main to the current -test is not quite trivial. The current -test has a much better architecture, however.

After that, it depends on whether you want to:

• just play around
• contribute to TMW
• start a public server with the official content
• start a public server with a mix of official and new content
• start a public server with all new content
