Home server on the router

Hi!
I would like to create a home server and would like to play TheManaWorld that someone helped me, because I jumped out of a message which I do not understand. My operating system is Windows running Cygwin Linux emulation. Sorry for any mistakes my English is poor.

RastaMan, the server code was recently changed to require a new version of GNU make.
Try the workaround given at http://wiki.themanaworld.org/index.php/ ... Own_Server

Also you are using an outdated source repository, the correct one is also in that link.

Please realize, that due to unavoidable limitations of the underlying platform, performance on Cygwin scales badly. The only reason it is supported at all is to allow a single developer to test before committing. If you want to make a public server, you're better off running Linux (one of 3 ways: on the hardware, in a classic VM, or using something like andLinux)

(Yes, running Linux in a VM on Windows is faster than using Windows natively)
