Mana 0.6 client

[trapdoor]

I am looking for some testers for Mana 0.6 on Mac OSX 10.5 and above.

I built this on 64bit Lion, and I haven't been able to test 10.5 or 10.6.

I confirm, it doesn't work with Mac OS X 10.6.8 Snow Leopard. Moreover, I must say that Lyon is worse than Snow Leopard. In addition, Mountain Lyon is about to come out.

Works for me now, nice work!

However, I can find several problems:

• The grey isn't grey but yellow. I attached examples for you to see but forgot a screenshot that when you show the collision tiles, they also appear in yellow.
• Another thing that I added in my examples.png file, is that the version written is 0.5.3 and in fact, it should be 0.6.0

I fixed the version problem.

The yellow issue seems to be a bug in guichan.

Line 333 of scrollarea.cpp shows

graphics->setColor(gcn::Color(0, 0, 0, 32));

I can edit this and set the alpha to 255, and the rgb color acts normally. But when using an alpha less than 255, it makes it different shades of yellow.

Okay, thanks for the work, once again.

One last thing I have spotted, being a maniac person, is that "mana" should take a capital letter and be written "Mana". This can be applied in the .dmg file you download and also in the top bar of your screen, when you run the program. I attached an example.

The 0.6.0 package worked fine until last week when I installed the updated package from here. (This might not be causally related, but I mention it because it's the obvious thing I changed around that time.)

Now mana.app crashes each time an NPC dialogue box opens or I take an item from storage. This happens on both the main server and on the testing server (where @item also triggers a crash.)
I deleted both the application itself and ~/Library/Application Support/Mana, then reinstalled. This had no effect.
I did not find any related files in ~/Library/Preferences.

I run OSX 10.6.8 on a MacBook 4,1.

Has anyone else encountered similar problems? Any ideas what might be causing this?

The debug output is longer than I'd like to paste here. I'm happy to quote a particular section or attach the whole output as a file.

I can't reproduce this. I will be building a new package for 0.6.1 soon, hopefully it will be fixed for you then.
