You need to learn magic lvl 1 or 2 first and nature magic. After you learn this she will give you a chance to prove to her your a good healer, after you recieve 1 life stone from her, buy or create more (she can create some with some herbs i believe). Keep healing "hurt" players until she agrees your a good healer and teaches you inma (lvl 2 life magic).

Ive always done healing magic after i had gotten level 2 nature and general magic first.

good luck!

Yeah it doesnt show for me either, she doesnt accept you until you have done the healing part. So when you heal to her satisfaction you will see the icon after you talk with her.

Technically, you should be able to use #inma before Elanore teaches it to you. You just need to be General Magic Level 2. I actually discovered this while leveling the magic of my alternate character. It gives more 'healing experience' than #lum and doesn't cost you lifestones. That's how I got my alt's Life Magic Level 2 and got her to teach me #inma even though I was already using it.

Not sure if they changed or fixed it by now, but it's worth a shot.

You have to heal sick players and also last of all the injured mouboo to get life magic 2
don't worry you'll get there with some practice .

great to place to find sick players is the gy and the mining cave north of hurnscald

There is actually no level 1 magic skill, except for general magic that is. This does seem a little strange and confusing to me but that seems to be the way it is. I think the general idea is that the specialist schools are more advanced magic and only kick in when you've got enough for level 2. Maybe things'll be straightened out and clearer when they start work on including levels >2.

well for healing magic it sort of makes sense, because level 1 would be #lum and using lifestones. But! she does not accept you as a student (which is why i think you dont see the icon, cause your not a student yet) until you reach level 2 (#inma). Hopefully magic will grow later on.

When you read the wiki about it you will also notice the following slight inconsistency:
When you get magic level 1 you are able to cast level 0 spells, when level 2 and level 2 in magic skill when needed, you can cast level 1 spells... and so on.
