I have downloaded the file tmw-0.0.19-i686-1.rgz.
uncompressed it. and under the install directory is a file that is called slack-desc. that tell me nothing how to install.
I am using kubuntu dapper 64 bit version. I do a search for tmw and get tmw-data and tmw-music but no actual game file. so it will not install. says files are missing.
can anyone help me out with a complete list of what I have to do.
thanks all
installing

Actually, it seems you have downloaded the Slackware binary package, which is meant to be used with the Slackware Linux distribution, not with Ubuntu (or variants).
I think the current .deb package which would be meant to be used with Ubuntu is not working, so I guess you'll have to compile TMW (and probably also Guichan) yourself from source. You'll find the source package on the download page.
