I tried to add the Mana+ repository with http://download.opensuse.org/repositori ... :4144.repo, but this directory does not seem to exist yet. Can I use Fedora 17's repository until it will be created ?

Yes you can try use Fedora 17 repository, possible it can work.

For the Mana client there is a "tmw" package inside of the Fedora repos which should work.

But I did a SRPM for manaplus for you.

Download link: http://ablu.fedorapeople.org/manaplus-1 ... -0.src.rpm

Build it with

Code: Select all

rpmbuild --rebuild manaplus-1.3.1.20-0.src.rpm

Then install the rpm from ~/rpmbuild/RPMs

EDIT: SORRY. I packed a old version. I was taking the version from games:manaplus. But 4144 home seems to be more updated.

The game has been installable in Fedora-land for a while now:

sudo yum install tmw -y

You can get the manaplus client with

I hope that you mean that manaplus will depend on tmw. It seems silly that they would assume that every tmw installer would want manaplus with it.

na. tmw on manaplus. a tmw branding package without client makes no sense. So tmw pulls in manaplus as default client. I actually retired the mana client in order to make room for our new client. And since that one will (at least for now) only support the mana server (manaserv). So we need manaplus to replace mana for Fedora.
