These sort of things belong in the license file. To imagine if I had all the zombies, skeletons, squirrels, spiders, snails, log heads, bees, and crabrabbits running around saying "Fother J, Fother J!" unacceptable.

There is nothing wrong with signatures in content as long as it is invisible to the normal player. I added invisible watermarks to a lot of my graphics - mostly in case authorship needs to be proven in a copyright dispute.
