Recently (last couple of versions of manaplus) I have noticed a couple of things with the Linux client (I'm running it on Ubuntu 12.04.4):
1. Every so often (no precise timing it seems pretty random) the screen will flash "lines" that appear to come from the top left corner of the window. They typically make the game disappear for a second or so.
2. When in Hurnscald village, the client very often freezes and has to be killed (from a terminal using the kill command). Sometimes this happens when very busy (the last GM event for example) or at the moment when I talk to Jack.
Happy to try anything to help.

You can see it in settings, in video tab.
Re: linux client issues
Client is currently set to:
Safe OpenGL
1022x568
I'll have a go at the screen shot but it happens really quickly.
btw, I'm afk this weekend.

Re: linux client issues
Despite furiously pressing the print screen button I have yet to capture an example. For some reason, I currently suspect it may happen when I get packet loss.
