I see that. Working on a fix.
The secret to getting all the important stuff done is doing nothing.

Re: caretaker, george &other npc showing trick or treat dial
Hi,
I read the fix but i dont understand a thing so...
I saw Munro
halloween quest is online.
Hitchter towel are online.
I dont check the bowler hat and others annual quest
Orum first part (to get the candle helmet) is buggy, the 2nd barrier crash the client and all barrier color change when you are back online.
the arrows are still at 2gp in tulimshar store
when do you think Heathin quest (with your change) will be online?

Re: caretaker, george &other npc showing trick or treat dial
This is just for Halloween and Xmas Time events. Others still use a different call.
Trick or Treating shouldn't happen. But Munro and the Charm should still be active.
Xmas event should function as normal.

Re: caretaker, george &other npc showing trick or treat dial
my guess is that he tested on the main server rather than the test server because "the arrows are still at 2gp in tulimshar store" and "2nd barrier crash the client"
on the test server this is all fixed
on the test server this is all fixed

And how crach client?meko wrote:"2nd barrier crash the client"
Re: caretaker, george &other npc showing trick or treat dial
It does a warp loop. Like if there is a warp on [1,1] that warps to [1,2] and the player keep pressing the up arrow key.4144 wrote:And how crach client?meko wrote:"2nd barrier crash the client"
Re: caretaker, george &other npc showing trick or treat dial
You mean inifinite loop (in other words freeze) and not crash?meko wrote:It does a warp loop. Like if there is a warp on [1,1] that warps to [1,2] and the player keep pressing the up arrow key.4144 wrote:And how crach client?meko wrote:"2nd barrier crash the client"

No, I mean crash. It crash less often if you enable "buggy server protection" but still crash4144 wrote:You mean inifinite loop (in other words freeze) and not crash?

Then disconnect?meko wrote:No, I mean crash. It crash less often if you enable "buggy server protection" but still crash4144 wrote:You mean inifinite loop (in other words freeze) and not crash?
Or you mean correct exit after overflow send or receive buffer?
Crash mean abnormal program termination.
