TMW branding data not working with ManaPlus 1.4.12.20

Post by Meicchi »

Operation system: Linux Mint 17.1 (rebecca)

ManaPlus 1.4.12.20 update through .deb repository (trusty main) via apt-get

When we download TMW in Mint we get ManaPlus default client plus an TMW launcher (which is customized to run

Code: Select all

manaplus /usr/share/tmw/tmw.mana
. So I'm more used to open TMW this way. However, after I updated to newest version (prior was 1.4.1.18) it crashes after the update check. This is what I get from gdb:

http://pastebin.com/m2vuXcK5

Workaround: Opening TMW through plain manaplus exec should work fine though.

For tmw branding not exists packages.
You running manaplus with outdated and removed branding from all distros. Probably you should clean system from outdated packages.
Even if it can work like this, better not use it.
