bot check / chat on Android

I don't know is this is a bug report or a feature request, but...

I remember some time (months? years?) ago the Android client used to have a way to invoke a keyboard. It wasn't very easy to use but it was possible to invoke it and type something, and if GMs would show up one could at least type a few words. This icon is gone and whether one enables in the setup "show keyboard icon" or not, there is no keyboard icon and therefore it is impossible to type anything.

I have played here for many years, never botted or anything, but do the GMs know about this? can they see if we are playing on a phone? Because if I get a bot check or something the only thing I can do is log off or show smilies to avoid being banned for botting.

keyboard icon look like invisible, but it still in same place at top left corner. If tap here, it will open keyboard
