[BUG] Gaining magic

I have tried twice (once under the supervision of a GM (thanks Ginaria)) to gain General Magic Level 1 on my level 72 char Teza.
The Mana Potion seems to have no effect.
Order of what I did:
Went to Mana Seed, touched it --> Went to Wyara and asked her about Mana Potions --> Gave her ingredients -->
Went back to Mana Seed "used" Mana Potion and touched Mana Seed again to no effect.
I did this twice.

fixed, a simple restart
