When you pick up too many stuff fast enough you get disconnected. Just drop 5 stuff, and pick them up very fast.
You don't get the usual "alredy connected" message when reconnecting.
(i got this during ilia, when i greedily tried to pick up a tone of crystals on the far left :'( . This probably happens often....)

Re: Fast pickups disconect bug
Pressing any key too fast is considered as spam. You shouldn't pick up too fast or even itenplz too fast. Server considers it as spam.
I'm as cool and comforting as the porcelain tiles on your bathroom floor during an evening of vomiting.
Re: Fast pickups disconect bug
It sais network error ....
and if it considers spam picking up too fast, it's definitely a bug

Re: Fast pickups disconect bug
Have you checked "Enable buggy servers protection (do not disable)"? It is under Setup, Misc.
Re: Fast pickups disconect bug
I cannot confirm, tried but in my system didnt get dc'd. (latest manaplus, linux mint17, cinnamon)
Re: Fast pickups disconect bug
Disconnect can happend if disable option "Enable buggy servers protection (do not disable)" and press Z key too quickly or hold it down.
This works sadly as designed. If server see too many same actions (packets) it disconnect player.
Also some times may happend disconnect with enabled "Enable buggy servers protection (do not disable)". It related to bad flood detection implementation on server and big network lag.

Re: Fast pickups disconect bug
Yep, buggy server protection option fixed it.
Without the option it's a consistent disconnect.
