Okay I downloaded the most updated CVS, and now it won't run at all, it says there is a missing GUICHAN.DLL file. *scratches head* No clue.

copy all dlls from your installation folder to the cvs folder

I did, for some reason it overwrote the contents of a folder... anyway, I managed to get everything to work now! What I did was install the CVS from the 30th of December (since the latest, the 31st was corrupt for some reason). I then uninstalled and reinstalled tmw 0.0.8 and everything works fine now :)
