A few bugs

Alright, I'll try and figure out how to phrase these bugs.

Apparently there some way to always pick up things you walk over, however there doesn't seem to be a way to toggle it off. It may have something to do with trying to set up a joysticks and then disabling the joystick.

The next set of bugs are connected, I have tried to recreate them but unsuccessfully.
First off, I've been auto-attacking like some others have experienced (attacking without using ctrl) without any apparent way to turn if off, I didn't try recalibrating or enable/disabling the joystick.
So I run into the crazy sex change doctor. Just for some humor I let him change my sex, this is when things start to go downhill. Since I have to disconnect and reconnect, I close tmw. When I start it up again the program fails to load locking my mouse and setting the screen resolution smaller. I recover from that by resetting my screen resolution and restarting Gnome. I run tmw again, and it loads and runs fine. I change my sex back, disconnect, and run tmw again. When I log into my character I'm constantly sitting and standing up as if I was sending the alt+s command over and over again. This only occurs when I'm idle. When I close the program and start it back up, everything is fixed. I'm not sitting and standing up constantly. I'm not auto-attacking anymore either. I'm still auto-picking up.

I noticed while searching the forums that others had issues with auto-attacking and having a joystick attached, so I removed my joystick and I stopped auto-picking up.

Another thing I noticed after that little adventure is that the animation for silk headbands isn't correct when attacking. It's out of sync with the attack.

Sorry if some of this has been repeated.

Is this with version 0.0.23? In the current development version, keyboard input has been reworked and keys are now configurable in the config window. It could be that the auto-attack, auto-pickup and sit-stand-sit-... problems are fixed in the process, though their inconsistent appearance makes it hard to tell where the problem lies. I'm also not sure if these changes have affected joystick code as well.

The silk headband animation indeed needs some correction.

I'm not sure if the problems with the sex changer can be solved without server side changes. Of course it's not normal that TMW fails to load, but unfortunately there isn't enough information to know what the problem might have been.

This is with version 0.0.23. Tracking down bugs that are intermittent is quite the pain. I haven't been able to find a sequence that reproduces the bugs. It will be interesting to see if the code changes wouldn't allow for these same bugs.
