Sorry, but when you insist on downloading TMW from themanaworld.org you have to live without TMW, because all of our releases are hosted on sourceforge.net ;)

You can find all previous releases since 0.0.8a on our sourceforge download site: http://sourceforge.net/project/showfile ... _id=106790

You can also get a sourcecode/resources snapshot from any point of development from our subversion repository.

For those who want to trust a non-tmw hosted file (I actually built the last couple of officially hosted osx builds ;)

http://www.casualgamer.co.uk/tmw-0.0.24-dev.dmg

Its a universal build, that should work on 10.3.9 and later.

I have tested on PPC and Intel versions of 10.5.1 and it seems to work ok.

If people could let me know if this fixes the problems they have been having, that would be great, so the Mac version will be ready when 0.0.24 is released.

Cheers,

Trapdoor, so good to see you around. Tried running it on 10.4.1 and got the following

Code: Select all

 /Applications/The\ Mana\ World.app/Contents/MacOS/The\ Mana\ World; exit
dyld: Library not loaded: @executable_path/../Frameworks/SDL_mixer.framework/Versions/A/SDL_mixer
Referenced from: /Applications/The Mana World.app/Contents/MacOS/The Mana World
  Reason: image not found
Trace/BPT trap
logout
[Process completed]
Hope it helps.

Sorry, knew I would forget a framework, so I specifically ran it on a machine without any, and it seemed to work, oh well, try again with the link above, it should work now.

Sorry it took so long to get back to you. It works great, and from the lack of whining in the forums I would guess that no one else is having any problems either. It looks and works great, even the new features.

Fou-lu, what error do you get?

You should click and drag the .app to /Applications

Have you tried running the game from terminal using
/Applications/The\ Mana\ World.app/Contents/MacOS/The\ Mana\ World

There might be some framework or library used thats not on 10.3.9.
