I am a new player of this game and use the ubuntu. The select charater, after registering, it does appear.

Please state also the version of Ubuntu you're using. Ubuntu 7.10 comes with 0.0.23, which is no longer supported. Upgrade to Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) and try again.
