I have 58 of defense but the monsters like the cave snake do hurts(damages) of shaft to me 8 points and it happens to me with all the monsters. what I can do?

Buy an armor, and set your status points on vitality

Note that the armor defence is a percentual value. When you have 58 defence then all incomming damage is reduced by 58%. The vitality, on the other hand, gives you an absolute damage reduction. When you have 40 vitality all damage is reduced by 40 points.
