Are you sure you read http://linux.oneandoneis2.org/LNW.htm, before answering my post?

No. Definitely not :)
how do i get yum?
It's already installed *grin* : hit [alt]+[F2], type xterm, press enter, type sudo yum , press enter and voila!

I guess you have to wait until my manual is finished to get it to work;-)

Thats what i did in my starting post - its version 0.0.23 which will NOT work. Normal Fedora 8 uses version 0.0.24.1, which does not work (correctly) either. Compiling from source brought compiler errors (Linpus repo compiler gcc-c++), so i didn't manage it so far. BTW: Linpus sucks(no man pages, broken packages, update manager issues, generally outdated software...)

Easiest and safest would be contacting marketing@linpus.com and ask them if they could update the manaworld-package.

I will try again, but i don't know how long it will take.

greets, blue

RTFM!

Literally "Read The F**king Manual";

a term showing the frustration of being bothered with questions so trivial that the asker could have quickly figured out the answer on their own with minimal effort, usually by reading readily-available documents. People who say "RTFM!" might be considered rude, but the true rude ones are the annoying people who take absolutely no self-responibility and expect to have all the answers handed to them personally.
